We are instituting a public fax service through a company called Fax24. In the next 2 weeks or so, they will be sending us a kiosk and a fax machine. When it arrives, please let me know so we can get it in place.
This will be a self-serve fax machine, and will be located in the main level copy room. Patrons use their credit card to pay for outgoing faxes. It does not take any other kind of payment besides credit. The machine will not receive incoming faxes, and has a toll restrictor so you can't make any other calls with it.
If it ever malfunctions, let me know and I will get in touch with Fax24 to have them fix it. This service should require very little, if any, hands-on troubleshooting or attention from us. Patrons simply lift the phone and listen to the directions.
It should be in place by the end of the month.
