Reference Meeting Minutes -- 3/11/14

Holly    If you are hosting a program and the speaker has their own contract, give it to Robyn or Carol S. for approval.  PLA is this week so desk schedules will be a little tight.

Lauren    The recataloging of the j398s is almost done.

Susan S.    The AARP tax appointments are all filled.  The Blood Drive is this Friday.

Barb    There will be a Meme program today in the computer lab, and social media programs the next two Saturdays.  She asked who gets priority if an item has been remotely placed on hold and a patron has it in their hands and wants to check it out.  The patron who put it on hold gets it.

Marjorie    We have several upcoming programs:  the Boogie Woogie Kid will play here on Sunday; the Michigan Opera Theater Spring Program preview will be on March 25; the Author Fair will be on March 29; and the Senior Care Resources Panel will be on March 31.

Tim    We are out of 1040 booklets; more are on order.

Alice    If someone inquires about proctoring services, please ask them if they are residents of Plymouth or Plymouth Twp. before sending them on to her.  We only offer proctoring to residents.

Kathy     We have a Kindle Fire DX2 and a new Kindle Paperwhite at the RA desk.  We have two more Tablet Help drop-in sessions on March 15 and 29.  The Zinio program is on March 26.

Carol C.    New game computers will be put out next week.  Carol will be off for two weeks beginning next week. Give any special requests to Lauren or Dana.

In attendance: Baker, Champagne, Dinan, Elkin, Ferguson, Hibner, McCardell, Petlewski, Sadler, Sherman, Stoney.
