Reference Meeting Minutes -- 4/9/13

Katie     As of today, we have access to Symphony and can practice doing data manipulation.  It’s a snapshot of older data so feel free to make any changes you wish as they will be wiped out later.  If you wish to run a report, however, check with Katie first.  Login information will be sent out today.  We will not have to suspend Mel during the transition phase, which will be May 13-15.  Circ functions will need to be handled manually during this time.

Holly     While the Genealogy computer has extra viewers for use with the cd-rom products, patrons can access all of our genealogy resources on any internet computer.

Pat        If you have an outside door key, it would be a good idea to carry it as the keypad has failed recently.  Please remember to fill out the Director survey for Hartzell-Mika.

Carol    We will be filming tonight’s storytime.  Beginning Saturday, Carol will be gone for a week.  See Lauren or Dana with any questions in her absence.

Susan S.    The Volunteer Luncheon is April 25 and staff are invited to attend.  Half of the tickets for the Book and Author Luncheon are still available and the order form is on our web page.  The Friends Annual Meeting is May 22.  Peter and Elmore Leonard will be the featured speakers.  The Garage Sale went well last week.  There is a pile of leftover freebies in the Staff Lounge.
They will be there for the rest of the week.  The newsletter deadline is April 15.

Cathy L.    We will have a Terrarium program tomorrow afternoon.  She does not have a current list of NHS tutors.  Please ask the tutors you see to be available to students while they are here.

In attendance: Bussard, Champagne, Elkin, Hibner, Lichtman, McCardell, Page, Patterson, Sadler, Stoney, Thomas.
