Holly Holly asked for reactions to the Active Shooter video. Reaction was minimal. She will be on vacation next week. We have another WSU student observer on Reference.
Kathy P. We now have a memory card reader for the public that will be kept in the locked drawer at Reference. No special software is needed to use it. Take ID, though. There are also memory card readers at both staff scanning computers. The Wilcox scholarship topic is Founding Mothers, Fathers and Families of Plymouth. Applications are now available. There will be a new book on prominent people in Plymouth, both past and present, coming out in January. The Medicare programs are going well.
Dana Several people have asked if they could get a copy of the DAR pamphlet on the Constitution so Dana asked the person picking up the poster to check and see if that was possible. Dana asked for clarification on our Guest Pass policy. Holly indicated that it was still intact. We issue 30 day cards unless the person truly is a guest. Dana is planning a Winter Carnival for Jan. 3 and will need volunteers to help with the programs. If you know of anyone who might be willing, let her know.

Susan S. Residents may drop their absentee ballots off in the drop box on the side of the Library. We are almost out of Voter’s Guides. The Council on Aging will no longer be making AARP tax appointments. Since the program is now open to anyone, regardless of age, they felt it no longer fit in with their mission. Susan and some volunteers will set up a special phone line here and make appointments. The newsletter proof should be here in the next couple of days.
Pat The retro pay will be in this week’s paychecks. The hourly rates will be adjusted, as well. Retro goes back to your last review date. Robyn will send out emails with details. Someone is putting inflammatory inserts into the Plymouth Eagle again. These are orange in color and say “Voter’s Notice” on the front. They are filled with hate material. Let Pat know if you find any more and discard them.
