Pat The Library Board has approved the
budget. There will be adjustments to the
2012 salary structure which will average 2.4% and will be retroactive.
Susan S. On Oct. 2 & 3, we will participate in
Michigan Libraries for Life. This will
promote awareness of the need for organ donations. We still have volunteer slots available if anyone
would like to sign up. Let Susan know if
you have any jobs that volunteers can doing while sitting down.
Carol We will have a homeschool program this
week entitled “Sounds Like Science”.
Frank The Lab computers are currently Out of
Order and will be replaced next week.
Envisonware settings will be changed to that when users log out, the
computers will reboot.
Kathy P. She will be going into Joomla and removing
outdated program write-ups. The Overdrive Consortium added 600 backlist titles
from Hachette since the prices will soon be increasing dramatically. Please be aware that patron James Lockard is
back.
Tim The first Chess Club meeting is
today. Yesterday, Tim had Guys Read and
tomorrow he will have Brown Bag Books.
Tax forms have been ordered.
Banned Books Week is next week.
Sue P. October is National Reading Group
Month. There will be a display featuring
our book discussion groups and our Book Club Kits. We will have a survey online for those with
their own book groups.
Cathy L. Please encourage teens to join the teen
book discussion groups.
Holly Medicare Part D programs begin in two
weeks. Encourage registrants to bring
their actual pill bottles so we can log their accurate dosage when helping
them. We have ordered a new camera
through the Campbell Soup label program.
