Susan S. Elmore Leonard will speak at next May’s
Friends Meeting. We recently had an
incident in which a skateboarder said that the “no skateboarding” policy wasn’t
posted anywhere. It is posted on our
front door. The newsletter proof should
be here soon. We are done with the Penn
Theater ticket giveaway for this year.
We gave out 80 tickets.
Evan He has enjoyed working here and will
miss us all desperately (paraphrased.)
Carol SRP is going well. Reading participation numbers are down but
programming numbers are good. The Edge
program is tonight and the final programs will be next week.
Frank Service desk computers have been
replaced and Lab and Adult computers will be upgraded soon.
Kathy P. September is Overdrive Training Month. There will be changes in how Overdrive works
and we are encouraged to sign up for their classes. Once the changes have taken place, Kathy will
do a staff training session to refresh us.
Customized brochures for some of our more popular eReaders will be
available soon. 28% of our monthly
Overdrive usage occurs via mobile app.
Tim Brown Bag Books will be discussing Shadow
of the Wind tomorrow. Tim will be
starting a chess club on Tuesday afternoons.
Cathy L. Tomorrow’s program is filled. Cathy will not be here next week. Alaina and Dana will do her programs. THE SRP has over 900 reviews!
Barb We had a good turnout for the teen
computer tutors on Art Fair Saturday.
Marjorie A patron suggested that we have an
after-hours adult book discussion pajama party.
