Holly We will have two new interns and two new substitute librarians starting soon. Emily has created a new Goodreads group that covers all three of our book discussion groups. If you have any ideas as to how to best display our eReader collection, let Holly know. If you feel you need to refund a computer users’ money, add money to their patron account in Envisionware rather than give them change. Likewise, if you need to refund their money for a copy job, use the key to give them a print.
Frank During busy seasons, tech staff will work on Sundays.
Tim We will have a program on how to select a financial advisor tomorrow night. Tim is trying to get new copies of the Peace of Mind booklets.
Kathy P. The June calendar is up on the Intranet. This is the last month for a full schedule of computer classes. During the summer, librarians will do one-on-one tutoring from 10-12 on Saturdays.
Alice The Enhance Your Landscape program had 49 attendees.
Dana The non-fiction video weeding project is almost done and shifting will begin soon. Lauren is interfiling cdbooks and Playaways in the Youth collection.
Carol Maurice Sendak died yesterday at 83.
Susan S. Susan and Tim attended a business conference in Lansing last week. Susan asked for feedback re. the pullout calendar in the newsletter. She is considering discontinuing it. Staff agreed with the choice. Susan made a lively presentation to the Lions Club re. our annual report. They gifted us with a check for $1003.
Barb The Papercrafters workshop had 27 attendees. This was the last Papercraft session until the Fall. Barb will be contacting the DIA to set up Fall programs.
