Holly -- Holly and Carol will be interviewing for Intern positions this week. The new hires will start work in mid-May. Please let Holly know your preferred dates for Evanced training.
Pat T. -- The new parking rules should not pose any issues for us. They just don’t want people parking in the lot overnight. There is an internal posting for a part-time Clerk position. We subscribe to Library Journal Patron Profiles and Pat suggests we look at their reports on the S:/ drive. They are in the folder labeled “LJ Patron Profiles” and include one on general user characteristics and another on mobile usage.
Carol -- Carol went to an SRP planning meeting and helped select themes for coming years. There was a huge crowd for yesterday’s Homeschool program. Kindergarten Roundup will begin soon.
Cathy L. -- Cathy is trying to recruit new TAB board members. There will be no drop-in computer tutoring this summer. She is talking with NHS about offering computer tutoring and doing less regular tutoring, as our demand for regular tutoring is low and for computer tutoring is high. There will be a Sleevefacing program tomorrow. Adults are invited to come to next week’s craft program.
Susan S. -- Henry Ford Health System is here taking photos of our Low Vision area. This area’s collection is very well regarded. The next newsletter deadline is May 4. Susan thanked everyone who attended the Volunteer Luncheon.
Frank -- Tech staff are investigating an issue that came up this weekend re. the upper level Envisionware coin box.
