New Nook Tablet in time for Christmas

We knew it would happen as soon as the Kindle Fire announcement came out.  Barnes and Noble is releasing the Nook Tablet for $249, which is $50 more than the Kindle.  It looks exactly like the Nook Color, but is lighter and faster and has 16gb Ram.  Just as Amazon has its own cloud, there is now a Nook Cloud for storage and backups.  Netflix and Hulu Plus are included on the device.  Best news is a slightly longer battery life - - 9 hours for video plus 11 hours for reading.
There is a build-in microphone so you can record your own voice reading books to your children.

For those who don't want a tablet, the Nook Color will drop its price to $199 and purchasers will get a free update with 100 new features.  The Nook Simple Touch price  drops to $99, a real bargain, especially considering you have no ads like on the Kindle Touch at that same price !!
