Thanks to Gary Packard from the Historical Museum, we have a pretty definitive listing of all cemetery inscriptions for those buried in Plymouth Area cemeteries. These include Riverside, Presbyterian Cemetery (now moved to Riverside), Old Baptist (also called Pearl St. Cemetery) and Shearer Cemetery. In addition, the 1827 and 1840 indexes of people living in Plymouth are in the Plymouth Local History file. Don't forget the local history vertical history index either. We continue to update that MS Word document each time a new item is added to the file.
For now, these are great resources for librarians helping patrons. When the move is over and things are fairly stable, we'll see about making these records available for the public.
