Holly Carolyn Matthei will be working 20 hours per week during the summer to help cover Cathy Lichtman’s absence.
Katie She will email us instructions on a new Hold Shelf procedure and would also like for the Librarians to start running pull lists in the mornings. She is currently doing some offline checkins.
Kathy She asked if staff felt that we should take advantage of our opportunity to purchase Rosetta Stone online. We will, although we are committed to Power Speak until the end of the year. We will keep Mango Languages. Hachette eBooks will not be available for purchase by consortiums, but only by individual libraries. If our patrons conduct a search without logging in first, they will not see the Hachette titles. They must sign in to see what we own.
Susan S. The Elmore Leonard talk is almost filled up. The third proof of the newsletter should be here soon. 464 pounds of food were collected in the food drive.
Tim He noted that you cannot find any contact information for questions on Ed2Go. Kathy reminded us that each class is given its own passcode and this is not the same as a password. Patrons have one password but may have many passcodes.
Barb She is on the Applied Technology and Trends Committee of MLA and will type up her report on last Friday’s conference.
Lauren The READ waiting list is 3 pages long. Many people are not showing up for their appointments, despite receiving reminder calls.
Carol We will be planting the Children’s Garden next Tuesday at 7pm. Tending will take place at 7pm on Tuesdays and everyone is invited to help.
Frank We will be ready to go live with Symphony on Thursday morning.
In attendance: Baker, Bussard, Champagne, Dinan, Elkin, Ferguson, Hibner, McCardell, Page, Patterson, Petlewski, Sherman, Stoney, Thomas.
