We have a new database trial that runs through the end of July. It's called The Street.com and includes the Weiss Ratings. Let me know what you think of it! Find the URL and password (in this case a fake library card number) on the Database Trials page on the Intranet.

The online database consists of 4 major categories represented by four tabs on the search page.
The tabs are as follows:
Banks & Thrifts (covering every bank regulated by the Federal Reserve)
Insurers and HMO's ( covering health insurers, property & casualty insurers, and life & annuity insurers)
Mutual Funds (covering stock and fixed income funds as well as exchange traded funds)
Stocks (covering every stock on the NYSE, NASDAQ, and AMEX)
This includes remote access for your patrons through cardholder authenticity.
