According to MeL, Academic OneFile offers "extensive coverage of the physical sciences, technology, medicine, social sciences, the arts, theology, literature and other subjects. Millions of articles available in both PDF and HTML..." This is to scholarly journals what Infotrac OneFile is to popular magazines in terms of coverage. The best thing about this database, I think, is their multimedia coverage. Many of the items are podcasts or audio files. New England Journal of Medicine has both print coverage and some audio files. When you look at the search results screen, there are tabs across the top. If you choose multimedia, this will give you the audio and podcasts. You may also choose reference, magazines, academic journals or news from the tabs. This product is included in the blue Magazine Search button on our home page as well as listed individually in our database lists.
