Proquest has a few new products they would like us to try. The first one is ProQuest Entrepreneurship, which they assure me is different from the Gale Small Business Resource which we dropped several years ago due to poor usage. For more info on this product, see this page. Cost is $1995 per year, including remote.
The second one is the Sanborn Maps for Michigan. These are digital versions of the historic maps we keep of Plymouth in the lowest drawer of the map file - except this database includes 339 cities & towns in Michigan. See this site for more information on the Sanborn Maps. Cost is $995 per year, remote access included.

I just helped two ladies from out of town by printing a map of a portion of Main St. from 1927. They really appreciated this resource!
