This is for those staff members who couldn't attend the reference meeting today:
The new database, Small Business Resource Center, is now linked on our database pages inside the Library. Pam & I will add it to remote access as soon as possible. (If you go to the "Search Magazines" blue button on the main web page; click on "change databases" at the top of the page, you can find it at the bottom of the list of "additional databases." A patron can click on this link from home and it will ask for his/her library card & they can get in that way as well.) One of the very nice features of this product is that it includes a "Forms" button right on the opening screen that links directly to our Legal Forms online database. (Gale is finally getting it right!!)
The other great news is that the Detroit Free Press is now available from home via remote access. Hopefully, this will encourage patrons to make better use of this resource with over 20 years of searchable archives.
